E-Safety

In school:

  • We only use the internet with adult supervision
  • We report any unpleasant internet content to an adult
  • We follow the SMART rules:

Safe – Be safe with personal information

Meeting – Only meet people with your parents’ permission

Accept – Only accept messages from people you know

Reliable – Check information you are given online

Tell – Tell an adult if you feel worried

Project evolve

We follow Project Evolve for our online e-safety teaching tool for teachers, pupils and parents/carers and hold regular online parent safety workships.

National Online Safety - Screen Addiction

Are you aware of the amount of screen time your child spends per week?

Too much screen time can cause physical, social and mental problems.

Below is a National Online Safety (NOS) poster that is designed to help you review your child's screen habits (and possibly your own, too).

We suggest that you do this together, discuss what makes and keeps screen time healthy and agree any actions for improvement where necessary.
