Junior School Day

Morning

Gates open – 8.35 – 8.50am (all pupils are encouraged to come into school independently, all pupils must be in their classroom for the register at 8.50am, otherwise they will be recorded as 'late').

Registration - 8.50am

Collective Worship - From 9.00am 

Morning Break - 10.15am & 10.30am (Year s 3 & 5 then Year 4 & 6)

Lunch 12.15pm – 1.10pm

Afternoon

Registration - 1.10pm

End of the school day - 3.20pm
Gates open for parents to wait on the playground – 3.15pm

Pupils dismissed from classrooms – 3.20pm

This amounts to 32.5 hours per week

Further Information

Children enter the school grounds through the playground and are the parents’ responsibility until they are collected by their Class Teacher or Teaching Assistant, at their allocated gate or door and enter the school building.

As per the Walking Home Policy all children in Years 3-5 are picked up by a responsible adult or older sibling (not in Walsh Junior School but Year 7 and above).
